LEARN A SKILL FOR LIFE
Ok, so anyone could get a broker and a trading platform and start trading; But, without investing in some sort of training you would most likely put yourself in a position to gamble. Using a device such as a phone, tablet but preferably (at least when starting out) a computer and an internet connection, these are the things you will need to get started.
EDUCATION
There's so much free content out there, make the most of it and find someone you resonate with and can follow easily. Don't just settle on the first person, follow a few different people as you will find they all have different styles of trading and teaching. It's important that you find what's best for you. To get you started, I have created Step by step, easy to follow videos for absolute novices. Head over to my youtube channel. For those who have already started their journey and want to progress to the next level, I highly recommend TFT. I have done their beginners education videos but their team is so much more. Live sessions, WhatsApp group along with discord for different strategies and conversations as well as an amazing mental health area.
BROKER
A broker is where you will deposit your money. You will use a Trading platform that your broker supports (link your account to) where you will execute trades. Make sure you choose one who is regulated and has good reviews. I always advise to practice on demo until you have adopted a strategy and mindset that is making you consistent profit. PLATFORM
MT4 was the platform which most brokers supported but now people are using MT5. You will analyse, enter and manage trades via this platform. Download Desktop version first from your broker. Then when you download the phone app from your phones app store you can link your account details (log in will go to your email you used to register for a broker account). In this video I will talk you through the basics of entering a trade.
