Ok, so anyone could get a broker and a trading platform and start trading; But, without investing in some sort of training you would most likely put yourself in a position to gamble. Using a device such as a phone, tablet but preferably (at least when starting out) a computer and an internet connection, these are the things you will need to get started.

There's so much free content out there, make the most of it and find someone you resonate with and can follow easily. Don't just settle on the first person, follow a few different people as you will find they all have different styles of trading and teaching. It's important that you find what's best for you. A broker is where you will deposit your money. You will use a Trading platform that your broker supports (link your account to) where you will execute trades. Make sure you choose one who is regulated and has good reviews. I always advise to practice on demo until you have adopted a strategy and mindset that is making you consistent profit. MT4 was the platform which most brokers supported but now people are using MT5. You will analyse, enter and manage trades via this platform. Download Desktop version first from your broker. Then when you download the phone app from your phones app store you can link your account details (log in details will go to your email you used to register for a broker account).
